sep. 15: team visit, programming, blogging

Today we had another team visiting. Their team name is The Stackers. They are a newer team. We invited them to see our table and to learn with us today.

Then we split into 2 different groups, 1 upstairs working on the robot and the other downstairs working on this blog :).

Today we talked to a water search and rescue liaison named Darrel Cashin about their problem with retrieving sunken boats underneath the water. The problem is the gloves are melting because of the chemicals in the used oil and gasoline from the boats. One of the chemicals was called hydro carbon. Neoprene is what their wet suits are made of. We are going to research for gloves that will protect them from any dangerous chemicals. The neoprene in the suit reacts with the chemicals in the water, and it can hurt the divers, and melt the suit. This can be expensive, and painful! Regional Qualifier at DSU

This is our team. It appears we aren't good at holding still:)  This is me, Vroom Vroom🏍. We were all very tired that day. This is me, Fire Cat🔥🐱,  on the left.
