Today we talked to a water search and rescue liaison named Darrel Cashin about their problem with retrieving sunken boats underneath the water. The problem is the gloves are melting because of the chemicals in the used oil and gasoline from the boats. One of the chemicals was called hydro carbon. Neoprene is what their wet suits are made of. We are going to research for gloves that will protect them from any dangerous chemicals. The neoprene in the suit reacts with the chemicals in the water, and it can hurt the divers, and melt the suit. This can be expensive, and painful!

Last week we completed our first successful mission!
Here is a video:

How we felt when we completed this mission:

Pygmy Puff 101: 😅😅😅😂😂😂 😈😈😈HHHHAAAAPPPPPPPPPYYYYYYYYY!!!

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR: Thank you stick (shtick) of wisdom!

Pygmy Puff 101: I'm the weirdest person here, but right now I feel the most normal.

Coach's thoughts: I am really proud of the kids for getting that first mission.  We still have a long road of programming for the robot and research for the project to do.

Here are some pictures of the kids and our robot at our meeting last week:
