September 1st meeting: finish table


We built the table! YAY! The faucet was difficult.

We are using code names. To protect our privacy.

Percy Jackson's favorite thing on the table is the toilet! YAY!

Pygmy Puff 101's favorite thing on the table is the fountain, and raincloud! YAAAAAAH!

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR's favorite thing on the table is the flamey housey.

Brooklyn's favorite thing on the table is the rain cloud!

Vroom Vroom's favorite thing to do was building the fire truck.

Cowboy's favorite was making the toilet get struck by lightning.

Fire Cat's favorite was the pipe that never quite fit together.

Today we talked to a water search and rescue liaison named Darrel Cashin about their problem with retrieving sunken boats underneath the water. The problem is the gloves are melting because of the chemicals in the used oil and gasoline from the boats. One of the chemicals was called hydro carbon. Neoprene is what their wet suits are made of. We are going to research for gloves that will protect them from any dangerous chemicals. The neoprene in the suit reacts with the chemicals in the water, and it can hurt the divers, and melt the suit. This can be expensive, and painful! This is our team. It appears we aren't good at holding still:)  This is me, Vroom Vroom🏍. We were all very tired that day. This is me, Fire Cat🔥🐱,  on the left.
